McMaster University Residence (Partnership with Diamond Schmitt Architects)

SRM Architects worked in partnership with Diamond Schmitt Architects Inc., who were the Lead Architect on this project. SRM was responsible for a portion of the Working Drawings, and the majority of Contract Administration Services on this project.

This 30 storey, LEED Gold Graduate Student Residence for McMaster University features a large rooftop running track and play ground, community amenities on every fifth floor. Other amenities found in the project include: a library, arcade, fitness centre, convenience store, large lobby with seating, a movie room, a music room, yoga studio, on site laundry and parking.

Throughout the building, a high degree of consideration was taken in selecting the fit and finish of all spaces.Exterior cladding is composed of aluminum composite material panels with window wall framing.
