The Gateway For Enterprises To Discover Innovation (GEDI) project for the University of Waterloo involved the demolition of existing offices, and renovations required to create new meeting rooms, open office and collaborative areas, and supporting spaces. GEDI is a Gateway for Enterprises (industry & government) to Discover the full Innovation capacity of the University of Waterloo. This meant the final space needed to be adaptable, both in overall configuration, and its ability to make use of new and emerging technologies.
