This six-storey, 164-unit seniors’ residence is currently under construction. It includes underground and above-grade parking and features amenity-rich ground floor programming including dining, fitness, wellness, and recreational spaces. Commercial suites at grade will house a dental clinic, hearing clinic, and pharmacy.
The building was designed using insulated concrete forms and precast floor slabs in place of the previously planned combustible wood framing. This approach that helped improve long-term maintenance outcomes without compromising schedule or funding goals.
