Jeff Atchison

B.E.D.S., M. ARCH., OAA, MRAIC,

Partner, Architect

519-885-5600x240

Jeff has nearly 20 years experience in the Architectural Industry. He holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design Studies (B.E.D.S) and Masters of Architecture from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Jeff is a member of the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA), and the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC).

Jeff has a particular interest in heritage buildings, which was informed by growing up in a small city surrounded by a largely intact Victorian city downtown core. He sits on the City of Stratford Heritage Committee as a member.

This interest has inspired a sensitivity to historic buildings and a desire to advocate for the restoration and re-use of buildings, pairing them with new occupancies, new additions, and incorporating architectural features whenever possible. Re-developing existing structures maintains our built heritage and is a key strategy for reducing embodied carbon and promoting sustainable design practices.

In addition to his heritage experience, Jeff has extensive experience with a wide variety of project types, including educational, institutional, health care facilities, laboratories, and residential.
